Breed Related FAQs
Every service has a set price and an allocated time, which covers the work of one person (either a bather or a groomer). If additional time is required to complete the service or if multiple people are needed to handle uncooperative behavior, an extra charge will apply.
Typically, we charge $1 per additional minute. For example, if the allocated time was 2 hour (120 minutes) but the groomer spent 150 minutes, an extra $30 will be added to the total.
You can't harm your dog with bathing - it's the main point you need to remember. I can give you some rules of thumb for different breeds, but you need to adjust it based on yours dog coat condition and odor tolerance))
Soft coated breeds (yorkie, maltese etc) - their coat is growing constantly, as humans so if has to be cut regularly. For keeping it short and low-maintained you'd better come every 4-5 weeks for regular length (aroung 1/2'') and every 7-8 weeks for a short haircut (1/4"). If you prefer to keep your dog on a longer side (1 inch and more) you need to learn how to brush the coat properly so it won't get matted, or have a weekly or by-weekly schedule with your groomer.
