Service Agreement
Disclaimer from the owner:
We really hate to make you read and accept these rules. To us, it's just common sense and respect for the hard work we do. We come to work to bring smiles to dog lovers and to help heal any traumas your pups might have from previous grooming experiences. Unfortunately, there are times when our kindness is taken advantage of, and it leaves us feeling quite disheartened. We promise not to bother you with these rules as long as you follow common rules of communication.

Cancellation Policies:
The staff at Rebel Tails Grooming LLC would greatly appreciate any cancellations be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time. We understand that things happen at the last minute that may prevent you from making it to your appointment. Please feel free to call us to re-schedule or cancel any appointment. Appointments canceled less than 48 hours before the scheduled time may incur a cancellation fee of $25.00. No-shows (cancelled appointment less than 5 working hours) will incur a fee up to 50% of the appointment cost. Client authorizes Rebel Tails Grooming LLC to securely store and charge the credit card previously provided for future services, fees, or balances as described above in this agreement.
NOTE: Due to the high demand for appointments during the holidays, all appointments scheduled November 10 – December 31, require a credit card to reserve the appointment and must be cancelled no less that 48 hours to prevent a $50 late cancellation fee.
Arrivals:
In order to ensure that your pet benefits the best from his/her grooming experience we ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your spa appointment to allow time for a meeting with your groomer to discuss any specific details with your groomer.
Prices:
Any prices you get over the phone are approximations. We can't fully assess your dog's fur condition, how matted it is, or your dog's temperament over the phone. We do our best to give you an accurate estimate, but if you need to be 100% sure before scheduling, please visit the shop for a consultation. If you come to your appointment and we see that the grooming will take longer than discussed, we'll inform you right away. If you can't accept the price increase, there will be a $25 late cancellation fee.
De-matting:
If your pet cannot be humanely de-matted, we may ask permission to clip the hair shorter than normal or in some cases request a full shave down. Please keep in mind that a matted coat can cause numerous health conditions including itching, irritations and skin infections. Removing a heavily matted coat includes risks of nicks, cuts or abrasions due to warts, moles and skin folds trapped and hidden in the mats. Heavy matting can also trap moisture near the pet’s skin allowing fungus or bacteria to grow causing skin irritations that exist prior to the grooming process. Rebel Tails is not responsible for any pre-existing conditions due to a matted coat.
Shaving:
You the owner understand that shaving can have both a positive and negative effect on your dog. b. If your dog is shaved closely, you agree to properly protect the dog from extended exposure to the direct sunlight as this can cause sunburn. You also agree to not hold Rebel Tails or its groomers responsible for any injuries that are a result of shaving.
If you are not completely satisfied with any part of your groom please let us know within 48 hours so that we may schedule to make the necessary touch ups. Any notifications after the initial 48 hours will be charged a fee for the trim.
I agree to allow Rebel Tails use my photo or photos of my pet on their website, social media or any advertising publications.
Pets are accepted for grooming only under the following circumstances....
By booking with Rebel Tails Grooming, you agree to receive service-related and marketing communications via email and text, including appointment reminders, rebooking notices, review requests, abandoned booking follow-ups, workflow updates, birthday reminders, and promotional messages. Consent is not required for purchase and may be withdrawn at any time.

- The pet is fit and healthy, Grooming which takes place on an elderly or infirm pet will be at the owner's risk. Grooming may expose pre-existing health\skin conditions for which Rebel Tails Grooming LLC cannot be held liable.
- The pet's rabies vaccine is up to date (as required by law) unless otherwise discussed.
- In the event of an emergency, in your absence, you authorize Rebel Tails Grooming LLC to contact the nearest Veterinarian and authorize the Vet to treat the pet as necessary at your expense.
- Payment is to be made at the time of service. Payment can be cash, check or credit card. Returned checks will incur a $35 charge. Our rates are based on the breed and weight of the pet and duration of the groom. Nail cutting and ear cleaning are part of the service unless the process is too stressful for the pet or too dangerous for the groomer.
- “De-matting" or complete coat removal will dramatically alter your pet's appearance. This procedure may expose pre-existing health\skin problems for which Rebel Tails Grooming LLC cannot be held liable.
